If not, you should read it... They actually acknowledged that the financial crisis has hit publishers hard! Crazy, eh?
The note from Adsense did not say anything new. It is just reminding us that quality content is the key to your success. I would take that to mean that they may crack down harder on low-quality sites to help incread adwords confidence.
yup they will be harder now for new sites for approval and will ban all sites made for adsense .i have not got any adsense email till date..waiting...
Lol, anytime I get an email like that, I am afraid it is something bad. Not that I am doing anything wrong, but you never know...
wtf I didn't get it, but I've heard of it - and I make a monthly income off them. Was this an actual e-mail or inside your account, or in the forum or something?
Dear Publisher, We understand that the recent economic turmoil has created a lot of uncertainty in the lives of AdSense publishers. During these difficult times, we're continuing to invest in innovations that improve publisher monetization and advertiser value in the content network. We're focusing on further developing our product offerings and boosting ad performance for publishers. We recently announced advancements in AdSense for search and experiments to make ads more effective. We're bringing DoubleClick technologies to AdSense publishers, and we'll continue to launch new products and features. We're also continuing to improve our offerings for AdWords advertisers, making it easier for them to target the Google content network. Features for advertisers, such as the new display ad builder, are designed to improve ad performance on AdSense publisher sites. We'll keep driving technological progress, but our best asset will always be our publisher partners. The strength of AdSense lies in the value of the content you bring to users and the quality of the sites you bring to advertisers. Our success is tied to yours. We look forward to partnering with you for the long term, and remain dedicated to helping you succeed. Sincerely, Kim Scott Director AdSense Online Sales & Operations Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 This email is regarding the AdSense account associated with ca-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. ************************************************************** laterz malcolm
Today's was the first email I have gotten form adsense...I quickly scanned the page for "baned" or "disabled" before even really reading it...quite the alarm.
Wow, scary stuff. But then again, look at ebay. They have basically closed off all new applications to the epn. I wouldn't be surprised if google followed in their footsteps.
I didn't got this email but there was another e-mail about forums( Google webmaster help). Is it only sent to adwords clients or publishers as well?
That is scary news from Google, maybe they are up to something. To be safe, post quality posts and get genuine SEO traffic only. Thanks for sharing the info, still haven't got any email from them yet.
wow, i actually got the email and thought "uh oh..." thinking it was the notorious email that guys get when they get their accounts canceled. i had a sign of relief when i read it though.
