    Dear DP's
I want to submit my site, where my competitor’s site has been submitted...How to find that, where my competitor site was placed...The submission type may be a book marking, directories, article or press release.

So is there any Google tool to find that...Tell me clearly

Checking on there back links could be a good idea. Check it on Yahoo rather than Google because Google tends to discount links that do not fit their criteria. Yahoo would show you more links and should give your a clearer picture. There is also a tool in Seomoz called linkscape. Try it but I am not sure if they would give such detailed information without a premium subscription.

Study your competitors site :D Check where their links are coming from and what anchor text they use. Try different link checker in the web. Seopro is a good tool for that.

    1. Try finding back links using special operator "link:websitename.com"
    2. The competitor should be using a peculiar phrase/marketing punch to promote. Identify it, and then copy-paste the string among the search engine. You will get the complete list of link and directory submissions of your competitor.
    3. Type your competitors name in the search engine and see all that has mentioned it. (This is the last step you should adopt)

Just simply ente the following strings into

    GOOGLE > link:http://www.competitorurl.com

    YAHOO > linkdomain:www.competitorurl.com

And you will see every site that is indexed lining to your competitor.. then simply go around and get the same links plus more and you will be ahead of your competitor.
