    Hi,

I am new to this forum and found it very interesting.

I am looking for some comments and suggestions about the placement of adsense ads throughout my website.

    My website is http://www.netpakistani.com.

    Thanks,
    Riz

    site looks good.
    ad placements are also good
try changing the ads URL color to match the url link color with the rest of the site. ..I think the way the ads are positioned, the color change will make some difference...

    Thanks rsankar,
    I will try changing colors.

How much CTR is considered good?

My page impressions range from 5500 to 6500 with an averate CTR of 4.5 i.e.
    200-250 clicks.

Do you think this is enoug and now I should focus on bringing more traffic to the site? If yes, will Adwords work for me?

    Thanks,
    Riz

That's a good CTR. That's a normal CTR. Anything between 0 and 5% is normal actually. You really don't want it any higher than that or next thing you know Google might accuse you of click-fraud.

Layout looks good. Adsense looks good. The only thing you might want to change is your top Adsense ad. It seems to "stand-out" more than the other two.

    Thanks Brian,

I had same thoughts about top Adsense ad, just needed 2nd opinion to change it. I have changed it back to its previous color i.e. same color as rest of the header. (Please have a look again).

I am experimenting Adsense placement for my directory's outgoing links.

Visit directory section of my site (http://www.netpakistani.com) and visit any category, then click on any external URL. That should take you to my redirect page (which is not actually a redirect page).

I need suggestions/comments on the placement of Adsense on Redirect page.
I am still experimenting with colors, layouts...

Also, does it violate any points of Adsense TOS?

    Thanks in advance,
    Riz

In what respects the top banner I would try to change the background color from white to blue (to match the header color). This color combination should perform better than the white background.
