    Learning how to make money online is an advantage if you are an SEO. There are many possibilities and chances to earn a lot of $ USD from it. Great promotion and structure of your site/blog is your way to tons of money in this field :D

    it is impossible to say if seo would be safe as a career because its such a new industry. you could definently make money short term though

    Actually, it depends what country you are in, but SEO is in high demand. According to research sources, Online Marketing is still poised to grow, and there's a tremendous demand for knowledgeable people. There aren't any real "degrees" in online marketing, the closest is your Google Adwords Professional status, and perhaps a certificate in web analytics...

    So if you are a good talker, and can get into job interviews, you're pretty well off. I never graduated college, and I have gotten more than most college graduates make after two or three years. Check out payscale.com to see actual average salaries.

    Hi, I am a newbie too.I've heard people making $10,000's per month and even if it's not $10k, surely a few hundreds would also do.
    Would you suggest a newbie to go ahead with SEO? What all does he need other than investment?? From where all can he learn all the things about SEO and related things?
