What info do you most want to see when buying a website?

The domain age?

How long it has been established?

The Pagerank associated with it?

I like to know about the traffic, unique hits and return visitors. Also important is where the visitors are coming from.

 

probably, the visitors, the income it brings in, and the domain age.

Is there a way to generate a link so visitors can come and look at your awstats without a password? Anybody know how?

 

I want to know them all especially revenue details.

 

Besides how good the name is itself...

How brandable is the name?
What traffic, if any? Unique visitors.
Age of the domain - check my sig for age seo.
Some site metrics such as PR, alexa, and backlinks are helpful.

I would look for the content - is the content unique. Then i would look for the backlinks of the site -> how many different sites are linking to it, how many are related sites and how many of those links have PR. Then i would look at the current serps position, for which keywords the site is getting traffic. Based on this i would buy a site.

 

I mostly look for the content. Then followed by the PR and traffic.
I dont really care the age of the website

I will like to see the Back Links, Domain Age, Domain name and last thing Theme of domain. These are important things beside this if we see everything is necessary to see buy an old domain

 

You mentioned so many issues needed to consider. But did you evey buy a website ?

 

would see:
1. Domain shouldnt be dropped ever.
2. Age of the website
3. Backlinks it has.
4. Content, is it unique or not.
5. it shouldnt be blacklisted , banned or sandboxed by google.
6. reputation of the owner.

 

Yes, I've bought a few websites in the past. The reason I'm asking is because I'm about to sell a few. I wanted to see what stats people most wanted to see.

Voomhosting says to post a screenshot to awstats. I was hoping people would tell me the exact parts of the awstats they wanted to see most, like the referrers, or how many links were coming from google, keywords that landed people on the site, that kind of stuff.
