Sounds fair enough to me as long as it can be 10% :D
When it gets closer to 30 you end up with a group of people who are pretty much fubar when it comes to moving up in life. That sort of class of people ( we can call them pisspoor) cause all sorts of issues that will find their way into the gated communities. If everyone paid it though, no breaks, the percent probably could stay much closer to 10%. I am pretty much for anything except the archaic system I am currently enslaved by.

Someone else said teach people to prioritize, I agree, we should teach economics 101 in middle school.

    TWO WORDS

    Shell Corporations.

I'd bet a whole lot of companies are going to suddenly split into multiple corporations that each make under $200k/year. There's always a legal work around.

I run an LLC for several businesses and the way to pay less taxes is to reduce income and run all expenses through the business.

Companies should think about removing all or reducing most employee benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, sick and vacation to of set the Obama tax increase.

Yeah, then why would you ask for us to report bad posts?

If you can't figure it out, maybe these forums are too complicated for you.

We had a problem w/ people reporting posts that were NOT breaking the forums rules.

Some members here (in this very thread) were using the "report post" feature to bitch and whine about other members who simply disagree with them.

So now it's not enough for a post to offend me, it now has to offend you or you ban me. Is that correct?

BTW, Thanks for the red, pal.

    My pleasure.

    <edit>
Seems you do understand the policy as the post you reported earlier was a clear violation of our rules. Thank you!

No, I think it just means stop using the report button to complain about morons that call you names... Revert to the sticks and stones mentality, and leave the report button for actual rule violations, spam links, scams, etc.

Using the report button should not be used because your feelings are hurt. I believe that point got nailed home, and thankfully there is a new rule as a result.

Anyway, there is no need for name calling in the P/R section. We all know who the idiots are. Why point out the obvious? Its a waste of time, and I doubt it really does any permanent damage to those that are.

    Edit:

Screw it. Truth be told, I'm just pissed 'cause I got banned for 10 days for calling someone an idiot. It's sink or swim in here. This is the screwiest damn place.

I would imagine all of this is at the discretion of the moderation. I mean I got banned for hurting someone's feelings because I questioned the intelligence of people that thought a particular way. That was a 10 day ban.

Then again, I've been called a lot worse by many here, and have yet to see an 10 day bans dolled out.

Again, its pretty much at the discretion of the moderators to both interpret the existing rules and issue punishment as they see fit.

I don't own the forum, I don't admin it, I don't moderate it, so its not my place to praise, complain or give a crap.

I'm just a customer of DP.

Well in his defense, he does have "Crazy" in his name. (DUCKING)... now, now, not a personal attack, just an observation.

I'd imaging that making your point more than once after the man with the ban hammer has pretty much laid down the law is likely inviting a loose interpretation of your posts as being what you say they are not, e.g., a complaint.

What's too understand? Its DP. It's all good!
