I tried to register for YPN but i dont think i got in. What sites do you guys have that got u in? how much traffic do u need for it? Also, does YPN or Adsense yield more $ per click?
You need a large site with 80%-90% US visitors. But I don't think that will help because I do not think they are allowing more publishers currently. YPN has higher CPC by far... but less than a month ago.
It took me about 3 weeks to get into yahoo using my guitar website. I was getting less than 200 uniques/month, but it was mostly US traffic. Also, I put together a well designed site that had several pages including graphics, information, pictures, and links to relevent websites. I'm not sure if it helped, but I also had bidvertiser ads. I wonder if yahoo sees that as a money making potential or not.
I have an urban entertainment/gossip site with about 15-20,000 overall visitors daily. I have many pages on my site with different information on artists and visitors love the gossip and pictures. I applied for YPN 2 weeks ago and I was accepted today. So give it awhile if you haven't received a denial letter from YPN. Chances are you will be accepted because I had given up on them.
