I have stayed about the same really, hasn't seemed to effect it too much. If anything I am a little higher than last month.
I actually saw something in the news about the economy affecting online money but I don't make that much so I can't tell. Here are some quotes for the Forbes article "The days of Google's blockbuster advertising business being shielded from the economic winds of change are probably coming to an end. "After starting the year with Google in both January and April stating that it wasn't feeling any macro effects, the picture has clearly changed. The question is, To what degree?" Barclays Capital analyst Douglas Anmuth wrote in a research note. Google is also famous for not providing financial guidance, but Anmuth said this could change as well. "We think investors need more clarity during this less certain period," he wrote. In addition to the economy, Anmuth said, Google is becoming a mature company and sees a slowdown in growth. "Google's growth over the last few years has been helped by toolbar distribution deals, affiliate partnerships and new advertiser dollars moving over to search, especially from traditional retailers," he wrote. "With fewer partnerships and overall query growth moderating, Google is seeing a more natural slowdown in its business." Practically nothing much I can do right now. Luckily adsense is still not my primary income or else I would be in trouble. For mine, the traffic seems to maintain at a certain level with roughly the same number of clicks but it's just the the cpc is now getting lower. Advertiser are just unwilling to spend more
Actually my earnings doubled this month than previous month. I think money in the current global crisis is just moving to different place.
Supply and demand: We now have less demand for ads, so prices should go down. Hopefully, the Global Web will keep booming, despite some setbacks.
No effects. My earnings are rising with global crisis. Moreover dollar is worth lot more INR then it used to be so that is another addition to total earnings.
For those who are making higher from adsense it's good for you, but as Ginene point out sooner or later the effect of Global crisis will reach the internet business specially those involve in Ads providing business. If big companies cut their ads expenses, the effect is that google need to cut publisher share also. Maybe this month we still not feel the effect but the next 2-3 months will see how the global crisis will affect the online business. We wish all the best, and hope this financial crisis will end soon.
It hasn't affected my adsense earnings but I noticed it is harder to sell websites these days.. people are more reluctant to buy
I don't know if other people are affected or not, but at least my adsense earnings are very much affect. My eCPM has dropped about 40%
I have actually seen a rise in profits. Why? Well as adsense earnings are in dollars, it helps that the sterling (UK currency) is down against the dollar, and my earnings are up around about a third. So despite my adsense revenue as stayed the same, the currency rate has meant I am making a significant profit more than what I would usually expect.
Nope. Actually im earning slightly more per click than I ever have. I have a lot of traffic over many different niches so my results are not a fluke.
so what eaxactly are the global crisis which has affected everything around the worls or the adsense regime can anone tell me and elaborate to me?
I have not noticed any significant impacts yet (positive or negative) on my “Google metrics†However, as a Canadian publisher (with US-based traffic), the sharp appreciation in the US dollar has led to a 25% jump in (Canadian-dollar) earnings.
