Does anyone recognize this email address??

One of my staff members received a death threat from the person who owns this address, apparently they know where he lives and they have people who can get to him.

Well he may be the one that is doing most of the typing for the site, but I am the owner and not him.

I am THE only person who can shut that site down, but I wont, as I will not be threatened by some gutless person who doesnt know enough to find out who the real owner of a site is.

All of this internet crap came around because some of our members are from the same forum, which in all honestly I have followed heaps of members on this site to theirs, so what?? I can be a member wherever I want too and the same goes for members of any of my sites.

Neways, if anyone knows that address, could you please let me know as the police are checking this all out as well as other people.

Death threats are a gutless way of trying to get a person to do something for you esp when its the wrong person.

It's a Hotmail address. If they can find the guy who hacked into Sarah Palins Yahoo account, they damn sure better be able to track down someone making death threats.

Light a fire under law enforcements ass. They can find it, but they're not going to go out of their way to do so unless they have people bugging them about it.

Don't loose sleep over it. It's probably just a bluff but better report it to the authorities just to be sure, I hope they track him down!

Death threats through email? It is the act of cowardly persons and you can simply ignore these timid chickens.

    You guys are crazy.
Death threats need to be taken seriously no matter where they come from. Killing someone isn't something you need to be learning to accept as a joke.

Someone who's enough of a coward to send death threats via email is exactly the type of person who would carry it out if they thought they could get away with it.

Were you able to capture the IP that the e-mail originated from? If so, that is also a route you can take to identifying the person. Don't blow it off. It may be a prank but that person would still need to find out what is funny and what is not.

best bet is to respond to him directly and play with him. its most likely not serious but never sure allot of whackos out there.

ask him to tell you the actual adress. And specific info as well as report it to the authorities
