Free Mass Email Program?

    I have a forum and the feature to send them an email in the forum admin has not been working properly. Is there some free software that I can use to send emails to thousands of registered members that are subscribed to the mailing list?

    phpList has always been good for me and it is easy to setup and run on your servers. Just make sure you don't have any hourly limit of like 200 or something on the server you are running it on.

    You have to be careful sending out thousands of emails, your ip could get blocked or if your on a shared server the hosting company could get uncomfortable.
