    Verify that your favicon still exists?

    You may have edited something which has changed the favicon, but I think they cache and don't change for a long while in most browsers.

    Assuming you mean mybloglog.com/buzz/community/tech43/, I'm seeing a favicon in all browsers but IE6. That's because IE is crappy this way; the only way you can hope it will show in IE6 is if you bookmark the site first.

    Your favicon has to be in the .ico format.

    On tech43.net, the icon file is still a png.

    <link href='http://callmeminty.googlepages.com/fa22.png' rel='icon'/>
    <link href='http://callmeminty.googlepages.com/fa22.png' rel='shortcut icon'/>

    I'm also getting the "M" favicon here. I take it you've resolved the issue then? What was causing the problem?

    It's showing just fine on everything but IE6 (reasons explained below) for me.

    Make sure your favicon is in your public_html folder, and make sure it's called favicion.ico. Try cleaning out your cache and viewing it again.

    I'm using firefox3 and I got this one in my browser:
    [IMG]

    The URL of the .ico is:
    http://www.tech43.net/favicon.ico
    Code (markup):
    I think this may be a cause, although other causes may still take place.

    Meanwhile, nothing happens in IE7 :(
