i have few sites and i want to promote these sites in google search result for perticular keyword and i have been submitting these sites from last two months among approximately 1300 free submission directories, is this right way to promote the sites whereby these sites gives help to appear in google index. And how many free submission is require in a day. Also backlink’s needed in a month.
Promoting through only directories submission? Hi, try not to focus on free directory submission alone. Usually that would not help a lot especially there are quite a number of low PR directories these days. Go for quality ones like article directories mainly ezinearticles and remember, try to build your links gradually or else 1300links in 2 months time may sound like artificial or even spam.
Its depend upon lots of factors. 1. Each page of your websites should have unique metatags specially Titles & Description (Use your targeted keywords, Do not use just one keyword in all meta) 2. Make different titles & description which covers your targeted keywords. 3. Submit the website in directories (Rotate title & Descriptions of point 2). Now a days Directories are not giving much in SEPR. Instead of that use Social Bookmarking, Article Submission, Press Release Submission & Blog/Forum Posting 4. Do not submit more than 50 Directories in a day, it could count spamming.
There is no magic number of links required to get to the top. You must keep building and tweeking until you reach the top. And in my opinion such a large volume of links only from directories is definitely a bad sign to Google. You should seek valuable links, not just any type of links. For example I would gladly trade 1000 free general directory links for a link from a well established blog in my niche. Concentrate on the quality, not the quantity. Do not get in that pitfall - "I will spam every single forum, blog post,directory or social bookmarking site with my links and than if Google is in good mood it will rank my website first". First try to create some link worthly, valuable content on your site. Try to establish a good and loyal reader base. Than the link eventually will come without your help, but if you want to make the process faster you can use some link building techniques, like creating content for other sites in you niche with a link to yours. And I'm not talking about article directories, try to find authority sites, blogs, magazines.. Establish a connection with them and offer them content. If the content is good they will not refuse it. The content can be article, video or any type of media you can produce. You can also try to include your site in the business related directories, chambers and associations in you niche - they usually have much link passing value. Other thing you can do is to try to establish connections with the educational sites in the niche, schools, libraries, learning centers, tutorial-style websites, than go local...diet stores in Santa Fe for example...and so and soon..you just have to remember to keep adding value to your site and to network with the others in your niche. Directory submission alone is not going to help, you need variety as other said like social bookmarking, blogging, link exchanging with some relevant websites(but not execessive), signature on forums, directory submission etc. And i dont think there is any thing like 'backlink’s needed in a month.' . You need more quality backlinks than your competitior for a particular keyword to rank higher. Dats it.
SEO though directory submission isn't SEO - it's just directory submission. You'll need a much wider range of sources of links than just easily obtained directorys or even articles.
I think u all right , whereas u all stated SEO tricks are a way to promote your good site (so much site r very low popular) and good site doesn’t want to promote itself, sites automatically grow up but in most of case lots of competitor their in WWW who competing their sites for related keyword, webmaster have to discern the seo tricks and give the way to these trick according to different sites and which tricks is appropriate for which site and this is SEO from my side. Seo is depend on sites trust and sites trust comes from user or online traffic(real traffic).lots of things is to be understood.
do some other thing in seo factor. Like - Link exchange with Related site. Article Submission. Social Bookmarking. Blogging. And many thing first you read seo books and What is a Search Engine Optimization.
That's hilarious. I submit to 1,000+ in a single day for each page in my website. I'm dominating Google SERPs. Google sees it as a new popular page, kind of like the "Digg Effect." Hate to burst your bubble, but maybe you shouldn't advise on SEO topics you aren't familiar with.
Google don't give much value to directory links, that why few links only show in Google backlinks, I have submitted thousands of directory submission but Google show only 1 backlinks for my site. So now i close directory submission and start article submission that show Googl backlinks quickly and easily
That's a very good point. I agree that google doesn't give a lot of value to directory links.. They are what people call 'low hanging fruit'. However, you shouldn't be using google link:domain.com for finding your backlinks anyway. Try google webamster tools or yahoo site explorer.
Directory submisssion for getting traffic is effective but a little only. So dont waste time on it . Try to make BL through forum signature and many other way reffer some SEO guide before do all
I partially agree with you. Forum signatures also give direct target traffic. We can also use deep links in forum signatures. But there are only so many forums.
With dir submission alone its hard to get good rankings. Focus on other optimization techniques also such as article submission, Blogging, SMO, link building etc.
