I got an affiliate website that i want to promote. I want to use ppc as how im going to get traffic. Ive been reading alot on affiliate marketing and alot of articles is telling to have a website, write about the product and promote. What im thinking of doing is just promote the website itself with my affiliate link and get the sale. How should i go about this ? Should i create a website based on that product or should i just promote the affiliate website itself ? What is the best practice ? Thank you all for looking !!!
I think you should make a website and promote the product, as long as you are making sales then it would be worth it. Then you can do the promoting of your website.

Do whatever makes you money. Just be sure your plans are not in violation of the Affiliates TOS. Many do not allow direct linking in the manner you describe. Why put a ton of effort into site creation if your only goal is to PPC a product? Make the site if you need to presell, or if it makes sense in the long run to won the space. Otherwise go for it.
