Is that a right way to drive traffic through SEO for new Bloggers

The question has obsessed me for days. Furthermore, I find many DP friends asked that how can generate high traffic via SEO. Well, to achieve the goal, your sites must have a top rank in search result. Is it easy to do this for new bloggers? Not really. In our minds, we usually consider that optimizing a site and ranking in top is not difficult, we can do this in short time. Let us see what will affect search result in Google arithmetic, content quality, internal links, external links, keyword density, site traffic and so on. We don’t have competitive advantage especially new bloggers. Therefore, in this thread let us discuss what are effective ways to drive traffic in early stage of sites. Here I list about 14 ways to drive traffic.
1) Q&A Community e.g. yahoo answers;
2) SNS e.g. Myspace, Facebook, and so on
3) Forum relevant forums in your industry
4) Craigslist.org
5) Directories submit your sites to directories
6) Tell your friends
7) Social bookmarking sites see more www.onlywire.com
8) Submit your articles to article sites like ezinearticles, goarticles, buzz and so on.
9) Sent out Press Releases
10) Comment on other blogs
11) Use banner exchange and traffic exchange
12) Use a ping service
13) Submit your blog to RSS directories
14) Add your site URL in your signature when you send mails
Addition: Absolutely never forget SEO, take it in the long run. May be after months you can generate lots traffic from this.

yeah you can add title tag, alt tag specially focus on content quality in which u must focus on keywords density you can add main keyword with heading <h1> tag its very beneficial for keyword ranking, second one classified posting its superb and fast way to get high rank in search engine's and many more things which comes in seo offpage
