Really funny. Actually, it's an eye opener. It again proves the fact that fear is the strongest of all emotions and makes you believe in some sort of supernatural phenomenon. So, if you take the 'fear' factor out of your life, there is no need for god at all. ;)

He is lucky, or rather unlucky, depending on which angle you see it. It isn't everytime that one's get strike by lightning, it is easily one in millions. But he is alive after being struck, yet another miracle :)

Yes, entertaining. Before reading the story, I thought it was a statistical coincidence. Probability states this was bound to have happened sometime. However, after reading the story, I think this guy should be nominated for a Darwin award. Standing in an open field with your arms raised for 20-30 minutes during a thunderstorm...better title would have been "Stupidity DOES exist! Proof by lightning!"

I hope it was God because that would mean God has a sense of humor.

That was divine intervention at its greatest. Moral of the story, don't curse God.

I do it all the time...no repercussions from the invisible guy in the sky...

Penn & Teller did it on Showtime while wearing lightning rod helmets. :D

If anyone doesn't think the fact that he stood in a field, During a thunder storm, with both hands in the air for half an hour had anything to do with him being struck by lightning they should take a peek in the thread discussing low IQ's and religiosity.... Id like to use them as a case in point.

I don't think wearing lightning rod helmets in a field during a thunderstorm would be the best idea. if you do it video tape it and put it on youtube.

Sorry, I won't willfully do anything that stupid. But if I did, and got struck by lightning, I sure as hell wouldn't claim it was god. ;)

Is it sorcery if you go out and curse God in a lightning storm in an effort to shoot lightning from your fingertips?
That one's for you Stox :D

From the source - "The good news is that Jason's faith has been renewed and he now regularly attends church."

It's amazing to see how years of religious conditioning can make someone so incredibly dumb.

If going to church keeps this fool from standing in fields during thunderstorms then Jesus really has saved him... from getting hit by lightning again anyway :D

No that does not prove anything , if someone wants to try once more , remove any chain , ornaments from body, he will die for sure , it is scientifically proved fact that gold chain can save you from lightning , since upto 90% of the electricity can pass through gold chain .
