Spam email on the rise?

Maybe it is just a coincidence but with the economic problems facing many countries I am seeing a huge spike in spam emails. Does anyone else notice this too? I think it's really getting out of hand. I'll check my email and clear the spam out and an hour later I have another 20-30. :(

Sounds like it's time to get a new e-mail address. That's far too much SPAM.

I don't think it's because of the economy. Listen to Ispence and get a new email address and make sure you don't post it everywhere online :) That should solve the problem.

Regardless of how the global economy is doing there will always be plenty of spam
    on the internet.

Which email service do you use? whether your service provider can effectively block the spams from normal mails?? BTW, do not divulge the email ids in public places. That's the secret to keep your inbox intact without bursting :D
