I would still be reading a book a day and I would still be waitressing

 

Before the Net I ran a market stall, tried MLM, had a Games BB and went to the pub (a lot).
But now I can spend a Saturday night playing with CSS and Mambo.

 

I would have never met you SiteTutor, what would my life be without that event happening

 

I'd lack my business, and my medical transcription job would be done very differently... actually, I probably would have gone into tech writing instead.

 

I'd be a pro wrestler.

I'd probably still be writting stupid dBase and Clipper code on a 386 somewhere in a very small smokefilled windowless room making way to little money.

 

I'd still be doing what I'm doing. The Internet is just a piece of my marketing plan.

 

I'd be suckin down more gin and tonic and probably be in need of a liver transplant by now....

I'd probably be working for someone else *shudder*, and hacking press releases and designs for print media *ewwww*.

 

I'd have to go to school and probably end up working double and making less than half.. lol

I'd still be a social worker, in grad school to be a mental health counselor. BUT, i would not have met my husband, so i'm quite thankful for the internet

(not so thankful for his current snoring lol)

 

I'd probably still be running a huge dial up BBS, was up to 8 nodes when the internet really went public with some decent content, had to offer 'doors' to get folks out to the 'net. Sure don't miss the phone bills doing the FidoNet transfers thats for sure. As far as steady income, probably still doing PC repair instead of my coushy Network Engineer/Sys Admin salary paying job.

 

I think I would start up a bike shop (always wanted to and plan to in a couple of years)

I probably would still be shooting Happy Days

 

I'd probably be porting mainframe code to Java at some bank in nyc. Thank G-d for the internet!
