Some other payment options would be nice. Maybe all Adsense publishers should band together and start a petition or something?
eBay already bought paypal for over 6bn. it would be crazy for google to buy paypal since they have google checkout system. it will be soon famous in the future anyway.
If google checkout is under one roof with adsense, why adsense don't allow withdrawal using google checkout?
Who owns paypal? There is your answer. Google and Ebay are only partners because they it makes sense from a financial standpoint. But they are not friendly partners.
yeah it has been 5 years since adsense was introduced and quite amazing which countries they included for EFT or Western Union and the reason cuz it takes 5 years to comply with local bank and tax regulations? Unbelievable. And they do charge my credit card in adwords instantly.
I wish they implemented Google Checkout, PayPal or added my country to EFT list. With check it takes about 2-3 weeks to get the check and up to 2 months to get the money on the bank account!
I wish not because paypal will make lots of money if google used paypal just from fees alone , without mention how many accounts paypal will froze and myself I don't want paypal to get any penny
Paypal keeps 3.5% fees too and it don't make any sense at all to pay that fees, anyway google CO will be there from which google can pay once it (C.O.) matures more. Google is following the traditional model of "Owning the Complete Value Chain"
One reason is google checkout, the other is a security reason. Paypal accounts can be faked a lot easier than adsense accounts. I'm sure there is more to it, but I believe these two are the top reasons why adsense doesn't pay via paypal.
ok it's fine to sanction competitor but if Google can charge us by cards? Why can't they credit us by card? Some of us are receiving starting checks at $100+ and don't have much capital and use these earnings for daily expenses. When you go to bank with these checks they think you are trying to clear 5 digits checks for all the double shipping trouble.
I dont mind checks at all aslong as they are in £ which google offers. But tribal fusion send me checks in USD and i have to pay like $20 to convert it to £ which is ridiculous!
I agree. A debit card would be the optimal solution! Although I don't see this feature coming anywhere in the near future, or if ever...
