Site failed automatic validation

Site failed automatic validation as of 2005-02-05 (make sure URL and site type is correct - if everything is correct, make a request in the forum for assistance).


Everything seems to be correct. I'm probably making some newbie mistake. The ads are showing on the page www.weirfire.co.uk/Partners.php

Ok... I've changed it to my directory pages at www.weirfire.co.uk/Directory/ and the only php file in there so far is the index.php page. It still won't validate. Any ideas?

 

I can't see any ads at all on that page. I also get a few missing images inside the directory.

Do the ads need to be in all the subdirectories of the place where the ad_network file is?

Where were those broken images? I thought I had got them all...

I'll get ads on those subdirectories as well. If only I had built my pages with an object oriented approach when I first started web design it would have saved me a lot of time.

Ok it's working now but I haven't added the ads to every subdirectory.

I have a weight of 352 so far. It's looking good eh? lol. What sort of weights does everyone else get?

 

That's a better start than I had, I've only put the ads on my blog so far which gives me a massive 200 or so

Currently in the process of adding to another site which will hopefully be in the 40K area

Will it make a difference to my weight the more pages I add the ads on? So far it doesn't seem to be updating. Is it because it doesn't update immediately?

I'm still pretty new to the Coop but I have read a lot. The more ads you have the more weight you'll recieve (upto a maximum of 5 ads). Ahhh you never asked about the number of Ads you asked about pages. Total weight is based on Google Page Rank of the root page multiplied by the number of pages indexed in Google.

Your weight will not change until more pages are indexed by Google, but if you don't have ads on all pages that they should be on, you will fail daily validation at some point (I think validation just checks a few random pages).

Is that clear or have I muddied the waters even more.
