    Just choose something that you like to write about, forget "high paying keywords", "hottest niche" and stuff like that.
    I like computers and I've started a blog about freeware software, knowing that there are already 100.000.000 websites like mine. But at least I'm not getting bored writing...

    That's what I thought to I mean if you write about what you wanna write about it will be the best cuz you do it with fun and you feel like you wanna do it, not you have to!

    I write about Life and Sports but all in my own private way and I still get at least 8 people daily...

    You won't make much money if you lose interest after 5 days. A topic that you have interest in will likely pay more in the long run because you will stick with it and build it up rather than be continually starting with a new "keyword"

    Try using Google free keyword tool around the subjects that you are interested in: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

    This will give you competition and search volume stats. Might help you decide when you know how many Google searches there are.
