    Hey all,

I was wondering if relatively new sites (2 weeks) had the possibilities of getting sponsored?
I mean if I take www.xalfa.com for example, do you think anyone in there right mind would buy a 300 x 250 banner ad?
Stupid question I know - but I'm kinda new to this stuff so it's interesting to see what goes around.

    Peace,

I think that you could sell the space you are trying to selll if you add more conent to the site and keep the fresh content coming for a little while.

People will not want to come back to the site if you don't continuing updating new, fresh and interesting content for your niche.

Video games are a huge market, so focus on your content and then focus on bringing in the advertising dollars. You will probably see much better results, with people keeping their ads running on your site for a lot longer period of time.

Funnily enough I just made a post on Xalfa regarding my traffic stats (with screenies ofc)... I don't think they are AMAZING - but I am proud.

Thanks GoWithABC, I believe I will just keep adding content - try to focus the niche a bit more, generate backlinks - and I guess in one to two months the site will be ready to accept a Sponsor :)
