Did you respond to the inquiry from Paypal? If not they will ALWAYS side with the buyer. You have to show proof you sent him the info.

"I think this is the wrong section to post this? Post in the general forum (Ask a moderator to move it!!)"

With respect, my dear vccseller, there is nothing more important than credibility of the buyers and sellers in this forum.

As it is, the crooks on this forum are able to simply discard their persona and start a new account with no liability for the fraud that they may have committed during their previous DP incarnation.

I have had the miss fortune of having to deal with several such "sellers".

In such cases there can be NO wrong section to post the fraud perpetrated by these crooks!

I am very sorry to hear about your missfortune, but you should know there are rules and you should go by them.

You cant hit a person on the road with a car, just cause you had a bad day, now can you :)

Wow that analogy is really way off, I tend to agree with he previous poster who thinks there is no wrong place to warn us about a potential thief.

No disrespect to you at all but I spend most of my time on the buying and selling sites and domains areas. If it is posted somehwere else then I would have no clue that there are potential crooks in the area where I tend to spend most of my time. I have to reread the rules and of course follow them but posts exposing potential theives would be more convinient if they were allowed to be posted in the area in which the business transaction took place.

Sorry to hear what happened to you, seems it happens alot of late not just on this forum but any forum you visit. There are always people looking to get over. SUCKS!

Just curious, I'm new at this. How can we ensure that the Paypal payment is legitimate? What is the max time frame before one can be sure that Paypal will not do a reversal.

Irrespective of whether the OP has or hasn't been scammed...this thread does not belong in this forum. If everyone who was scammed on here posted a thread in the BST section, it would no longer be the BST section !

That is just awful. I've read everywhere about scamming and recently I also had reversal problem. Paypal is just reluctant when it comes to dispute and they will always side the buyer.

Well, I've traced the IP to Indonesia and I banned the whole country from accessing my site. oh well, hahahaha. I don't know how effective this is. This proxy thing is giving me a headache.

i reckon the only way to deal with such scammers in this forum is to point them out, present proof of their scam, then everybody should jump in with -itrader on them. not everyone will read this thread, but no one will deal with someone that have -50 itrader or so.
just my thought on this matter.
