We got an invitation for the gmail for yourdomain.com today and it works awesome. http://mail.cwsteam.com I can basically create upto 25 Gmail Users at my own domain.com !! And I can create users, delete users, add aliases for users (and aliases are not counted as part of the allowed 25 users. See a screenshot of my inbox http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/9153/gmailforyourdomain7jq.png
yup, it's awesome. Our company only has around 23 employees, so the 25 account limit is perfect (for free). When we get some more employees, I bet till then google would have a paid option to upgrade to more users.
I've been using it for two month now, it's pretty cool to have access everywhere, now I'm just lookin for the ability to access all of my email accounts from one log in and to be able to send/receive under different names/addresses
I've had it for about two months. When I needed more, they bumped me to 50 accounts. I like it. I have several aliases under one account. Occasionally, the clustering of messages into "conversations" is inaccurate and there's no way you can change it yourself. The setup for POP3 is non-standard, so you need to follow the instructions. Not so good for impatient or non-tech saavy users. Great for use at public hotspots because the non-standard ports aren't always blocked like port 25 is.
That is very good to know. Thanks Nintendo. But as I said, we are small right now, so I am good with 25 Gigs of free email solution, with the power of google behind it. When we grow and if we do add on more employees, an email to google and I think I should probably be good. Atleast I know it's possible and that too for free.
Do you get a cut of the adsense money when you do this? Ok, I know I'm a bit late to the bandwagon on this, but would someone please pm me a google gmail invite. I would like to try it out and see if it would work out well for a non-profit I currently provide email for. If it looks ok, I'll see if I can get on the list for the gmail on our domain.com Thank you.
I only have the regular gmail account right now, but I do have it set up to let me pick an alias from a dropdown. Click the settings feature... and then the accounts tabs... and then just create email addresses you want to be able to "send as". The "access all accounts" is a bit harder, but you may be able to filter, forward or copy to your gmail account from your other accounts. Anyway, don't know if this is helpful to you, but maybe somebody reading this will get an idea they find useful.
Amazing! Didn't know they were sending these invitations. And no, I don't think you get a cut of the adsense income Christopher.
