I have reserved the domains http://www.getfirfox.tv and http://www.downloadfirefox.tv. My plan is to try to use the Google referral program to cash in on these. I want to put up some pages about downloading Firefox and then place the Google referral badge on the page. You get a spiff for every person who clicks on the link and installs Firefox. Overture says that over 450 people search for download firefox every day, and its probably more on Google. Here is what I need: I will assemble the site, provide the domains, and do my best to promote them. But I know that I need to get this domain in the top 5 places in Google to have a shot at making anything back. I need an experienced SEOer who can get me there. I could probably get it in the top 10-25, but I need an established network to boost me the rest of the way. I am willing to split any referral revenue 50/50. Not stupid, but quite a task... download firefox shows 142,000,00 results, and the top ones are taken by Mozilla... I don't think an experienced SEO'er would accept such a job just to get a cut on the referral income, it is just not worth it
I hear what you are saying. But *if* one was able to get it in the top 5, the payout could be between $300-$500 a day for each day it stays there. Maybe I am just underestimating what it would take...
