Five Beta Testers Needed for New Events Website

We are looking for 5 individuals to beta test our new Events website.

The new site is called: CalFeed (www.calfeed.com). It is a guide for LIVE online events.

We will pay $10 PayPal for your BETA testing services.

Here's what you will need to do.

1. Request an invite here: http://www.calfeed.com/invites/new

2. Set up your profile information. Log in. Click on the myCalFeed link in the top header. Click on the Edit My Account tab. Add your information, including name, description, timezone, avatar image, etc.

3. Find 10 LIVE ONLINE EVENTS that are happening in the future. Look at the data that is currently on the site to get an idea. Each online event has a Title, a Description, a URL, and Date and a Time. These events can be webcasts (live streaming video), webinars (training), chats, online radio, online games, etc. etc. The key is that all of these events happen ONLINE at a particular URL at a particular Date and Time. THESE EVENTS MUST BE REAL EVENTS, not made up.

4. Make sure that your timezone is set to the same timezone of the events you found. Your timezone can be set under the myCalFeed tab. Login into the site. Click on the myCalFeed link in the top header. Click on the Edit My Account tab. Choose the timezone in the drop down. Then press Save Changes.

5. Submit your 10 Events. After logging in, click on the Submit New Event Link in the top menu. Fill out all of the information, then click Submit This Event. Verify that the Date and Time is correct. Add the rest of your events.

6. Go to myCalFeed by clicking on the Link in the top header. Make sure your 10 events are there.

7. Go to the Upcoming section here: http://www.calfeed.com/events/filter/upcoming and vote for your favorite events.

8. After you are done, Email your myCalFeed link to us (robert@calfeed.com), which will look like this: http://www.calfeed.com/users/3 In your email let us know of any system issues you find. Also, include your PayPal account so we can pay you.


We will pay the first 5 people that complete this and email us.

Please only add REAL online events. The URL / link should point to a place where the user can participate in the Online Events. Usually these events will be Webcasts (such as Ustream) or Webinars, or Live Radio etc.

Also, be careful to make sure you set the Date and time right, including the timezone.

I went ahead and paid a 2nd person even though they were entering physical events and NOT live, online events. The events need to be online events to do proper testing.

If you aren't entering online events like the original posts requests, then it will not count.
