be careful before buying any site...read this

here many have scammed by members by showing the fake adsense reports stating high income per month..be careful before believing in such reports since the adsense page can be easily edited using javascript..i came to know this and i am stunned..

To be honest I wouldn't rely on adsense screenshots anyway, I'd research the site you're buying and think about what you can do with it yourself after you buy it. If it looks like shit and smells like shit, it probably is shit regardless of adsense screenshots.

 

you are right i see some body sell his site with income 300$+- adsense every month and he want 100-200+- this is Raises suspicions

 

And the amount of itrader makes no difference. I've been scammed by people with lots of itrader. I think it actually makes it easier for them to scam people because they seem more trustworthy.

 

really,some people would even sacrifice itraders for higher amount of money....

 

I agree with "asmodeus" it doesn't matter what the itrader states. It could be a group of friends giving each other a great review. And I never understand why someone will ask for screen shots of income or stat reports. You can make your stats and income look great. And "hexman" is right - why in the world would someone sell a site making $300 a month from adsense and sell the site for $200. I think there are a lot of buyers out there that ask for income and site traffic stats - WHY? Your going to get fake info, so why bother.....

 

I usually ask people to install a counter code on their site for a few days... This gives me an independantly audited traffic report. Nobody can forge that and it definitely gives a great insight into the reality of the website in question.

Like most of you say, people lie, exaggerate and make up all kinds of fictitious bs just to scam some newbie!

Yes, thats the right way if you are wishing to buy websites...one needs to do market research and also consider the potential of website and should not only rely on stats of earning

 

but,i have heard like we have to pay nearly 10 months income,(adsense and others)minimum as the price???

@Terracotta: You just stole my words from my mouth. I wanted to post this at the very moment i saw this thread 6 hours back but refrained as i did not want to get another infraction

 

Oh my GOD, just tested it out and *IT WORKS* on IE but not FireFox.
from now on I won't believe any screenshots for adsense or Paypal, if someone want to sell their site at big $$$, they have to let me login to their adsense / paypal account to verify the revenue.
