I've used quite a few plugins to help seo and utilize the meta robots tag to index and nofollow etc I got it to a point where my category pages were noindex I now want to change them back to index, but somehow (probably because to begin with I used tonnes of different plugins all doing the same thing) I now have one tag saying noindex then further down my new tag saying index. I've deactivated and reactivated my various plugins but I can't figure out what put the initial noindex in to the file. Is there a way to remove it manually? Do search engines count the last tag? Or can I just add a regular robots.txt and it overwrite whatever is on each page?
