It seems only fair. Let us know who is under 18 anyway.

I want to know what is the purpose of it? Use names are used to identify the members of this forum. There is no needed to color coded it with age.

you can assign the group, but then again who would love to assign the usergroup colour in user manager for one of the world's biggest forums?

i am running a forum that has 400 daily visitors and i still won't do it... besides, under 18 is user's desire whether to enter the honest date of birth.. so i think it's not use, but good idea..

however, if u put the usergroup, the value has to be constant data.. or u need extra work.. for example, u can group, by location color or level of access.. but if 17 years and 355 days person hit next day, the server will probably have to compromise and use more CPU consumption.

    just my 2 cents

You can easily lie about your age so I don't think it's a good idea.

Good idea but won't work in reality :-(

Another similar idea is to have people pass a typing test to see if they can type understandable sentences..
English is also not my main language but I try to write correct grammar.. too many times I see posts of which I think WTF are they trying to say or ask ??? as verbs are missing

How do you intend to find out and verify the age? I don't see why there's a need to segregate based on this. I mean, anyone regardless of age is always on the same level of playing field. As long as you have the abilities and willing to work hard.

I'd prefer to see a colour coding system based on height.
