Okay to put cows near adsense ads?

Hi,

I was recently surfing the Internet, and found this blog.

If you scroll down a little bit, you'll find a cow near the adsense ads!!!

Is it's okay to do such a thing, according to Google Adsense TOS or not?

 

hahaha this is hilarious. This makes a lot of cowsense

 

i am sure its not allowed.
they will get problems after getting more traffic.

 

this is not an image, right??? Placing a image near Adsense ad to get attention of visitors is not allowed and Breaks Google TOS I think...

 

first i would like to clear there is nothing against cows in adsense TOS. nihangshah i think you owe an apology to all the cows who read this ( just think for a moment what if they go on strike and stop producing milk)


ok i think this was enough to make your day,now some serious talk the border could really get them in trouble so one should always seek permission from adsense before doing something bold as he has done.

 

Totally against TOS as you can't frame your ads with those.

 

I think the people were not aware of the fact that this is not allowed. People who do it deliberately do not do such kind of things to get high CTR.

Yeah, they're just asking for it. And probably they will get it.

 

Why are you all so happy about these cows? It is an obvious violation. If you read the Adsense policy, under the paragraph of "Encouraging clicks" this guy violates the rules under three consecutive points: encouraging users ("you should like them too"), attracting attention and placing misleading images.

I really hope this guy is reading this post because I like his blog and it is so unfortunate that he will get banned

Besides, the shoutboxes made using InkScape looks atrocious and terrible! But that's quite another story.

Yes I think google has forbidden images next to adsense that draw attention to the AD

could get banned any time now

 

Its against ToS as its indirectly urging users to click on ads (the description part).

 

the images besides ads is a different thing, where you put images which are related to the ads, this is different. It breaks another tos that says you should not give attention to the ads...

The cow is telling me "Distinguish yourself with a Master degree from a top uni in Europe."

 

If the image is meant to trick visitors and fool them into clicking on the ads....yeah that should be deemed illegal.

 

They dont like this, its deceitful.

 

i think more than the cow , what's written about the cow , referring it as adcow and other description is more llikely to offend adsense.
