Who will Explain all the matter to Designer ? who will explain Dynamic site structure to web developer ? who will Block and manage Useless links and Website Promotion for traffics ? there is lots of factors who can Manage SEO Professional only, Don't you think Guys ?? Do we Need to Explain all the Factors, I wont interest to explain all the Points. Eric
To be honest, I can't agree with your post. You need many many things to have a successful website and despite what you say (with the best intentions) you definitely need SEO. However, what I think what you're saying is that you can't be successful purely with SEO. This is true.
Hi, The author here Let me just clear this up - I did NOT post that here, even I'm not too blind to see the irony of preaching about link spam and then doing it with that very article. So thankyou, 'tuandj' for ripping off my post, and giving me absolutely no credit! Anyway, to all of you who said 'that is SEO' you're right - perhaps a more accurate way to title it would have been '7 reasons you don't need to hire an SEO' If you read some of the rest of the site you'll also see that I don't believe in the overhyped 'power of linking' so trust me, it wasn't linkbait.
It makes sense until you realize that if you don't rank in google no one will come to your website and create links for you! The only way good content will prevail is if you submit to social bookmarking sites and people link through it that way. Just building a solid site and hopping you magically rise to number 1 in the search engine won't get you very far. I don't care how good your content is. I have tried this and it doesn't work. It wasn't until I started seoing my site that it started to move up in the rankings.
i believe you in deed do need SEO, yes doing everything naturally and having great content will work. But the results just takes way too long, people will never find you. Too much of anything is bad for you, this applies to SEO too. And all those SEO things that you mentioned are extreme........ atleast in my view
Most of those points suggest we use a professional to build our webpages 'correctly' the first time rather than trying to learn tricks on this forum. If only professionals built webpages and adhered to all the same guidelines then we'd all be no better off!
John, I've been tracking your post "7 Reasons Why You Don't Need SEO" around cyberspace and as much as I enjoy the read, I just do not agree. I cannot imagine a Internet world without SEO. SEO is a needed service that will always be if search engines exist. I have written my own counter-post which answers your questions, called "7 Reasons Why You Do Need SEO" (see sig). I think you will find it quite interesting and I encourage all to give their honest opinion in regards to this controversial topic. Thank you for starting this discussion with your post.
it all depends on the site, niche, site owners goal and if there is a big competition for our terms(keywoords) then some SEO comes in handy for sure los angeles seo
though you have a great post there, I personally don't agree with it. If you don't need SEO, it means the same thing when you just write your stuff on M$word and leave it in your computer. What's the use of that then? If you want to publish your content offline, you need to go to publisher, printing , and all, right? Same goes with online content. Maybe you didn't mean it in that way, but IMHO seo is essential to get your great content to the world. Cheers.
Wow, yet another wannabe SEO expert who's too lazy to write something of his/her own and instead steals it from someone else!!! The original article "7 Reasons Why You Don’t Need SEO" can be found on the website of EggRage.
Thanks larry! I did mention it but no one seems to be taking any notice! And yes antonaf I know you've been cyberstalking me all over the web for some reason, and it's getting a little old now.
All of that are SEO related tips... You said you don't need link building, you just need to have good content. Do you THINK people can FIND your articles WITHOUT OPTIMIZING it? I don't think so!
I do agree with others, SEO is an integral part for website promotion...... Good content is to retain the readers, to bring the readers SEO is essential
directly or indirectly all of your tips are related with SEO strategies. So IMO SEO is needed to beat online business competition.
