How do you fix computer problems?

Hey everyone,
I am doing a quick survey on how people go about solving their computer troubles. If you don't mind taking a minute and filling out the survey it would be much appreciated.

It takes me too much time to finish the survey, dude.
Most of the time, I can repair the problems.
I am a bit proficient in PC hardware now.
For the hardwares are more and more reliable, no many serious hardware problems occurs.

 

It's <15 questions with mostly just multiple choice and some left open ended in case you have more to add. I appreciate everyone even just looking even if you don't fill it out. Thank you

I can solve simple problems on my own but when it goes out of my hand, I will call my neighborhood software personnel for help.

@dairyman: neighborhood software personnel? I don't quite understand, are you talking about a local computer shop or an actual neighbor/friend who is quite knowledgeable?

I use Google to search for my pc problems which 90% of the time I find the solution.

 

and that remaining 10% what do you do?

 

That's what i do... the other 10%? Depends.. sometimes i just format my pc

 

I always use Google to find solution to my computer problems, if i am unable to find a solution, then i format my windows, hehe.

If all else fails, i go to the computer repair shop..
