Hi All, Info Vilesilencer has a new website, and a new procedure for submitting web directories to the list. Directory owners must first sign up as a member, and then proceed to the directory submission page. A big fat [ B L U E ] submit button appears once a member is logged in (you can't miss it). Members can also claim their directories once they are included. Either use the search module, or find the directory on the general or niche lists, and click the [claim here] link (this will only appear if you are logged in). The benefit of claiming the directory is dofollow links on all pages the directory is listed on (e.g. a free general directory would be listed on the Top 100, A-Z Pages and its own Details Page). Members can also vote for directories (again logged in), and the votes are tallied and count towards the rankings on the Top 100 list. If you have any questions let me know in this thread. NB: We are not compiling a massive list of directories, we are attempting to compile a list of the strongest editing SEO friendly directories. If your directory has weak editing (i.e. you allow keyword spamming in either the title or description) then your directory will not be approved. Also, we do not currently accept Paid-Only directories though we are currently working on this. enjoy
My directory was listed there, but only got a few the visitors from it. People like simple things, to register and post in your forum, it looks like you are promoting your forum. Directorycritic is much simple and can bring very good traffic.
I'll change my signature. The forum is available for directory owners for free promotion as well. It won't be used to build the list anymore though. Its simple. You register as a member you submit your directory. Is Directory Critic different to that?
I like the new look of the site and the new features. I have always received lots of traffic from IVS myself and visit there regularly.
