    So do you think that having a H1 tag for a sidebar name is bad for SEO?

    Should I code the free template I am using a bit different.

    Any help appreciated.

    I don't like to use H1 for sidebars, stick to H2 though google can easily differentiate between body content and sidebar content, so this should NOT cause any problem
