For some reason I cannot add images. The image path seems to be different from my other (working) wordpress blogs.

Add Media > Link URL for the one that seems wrong....
    thumbnails/2008/10/99637006_61cc062f9f.jpg

This path works Add Media > Link URL
    http://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/99637006_61cc062f9f.jpg

How can I make the path like the bottom one?

    thx

Check your wettings in your wp-admin page.

    Click settings-->Miscellaneous

Then set your "Store uploads in this folder" to where you want them to go.

    Does this help?

Haha, we have all been there.

I have had many a days spent searching for a setting that was right under my nose the whole time :)

    Glad to have helped.

    Hello,
I have wordpress blog with an installed external theme. This theme has a functionality of a slider where all the images should be redirected, if they are uploaded as featured images.
Now they appear as corrupted/incomplete files and the theme people say it is about the destination where my files are saved.

Now there has been forum reply saying go to: settings and them miscellaneous...
but i do not have that on my dashboard. i have settings...but i can see no place where i can specify folders.

Could you please direct me as to how to go about this.
    Thanks in advance :))))
