Did you check the traffic for that keyword ?
How much traffic you are getting from it ?

This is because you made link building with this text as anchor text

It's not the position in Google that you need to concetrate on, its the amount and worth of any trafic it generates. Anyone can achieve a top placed position in a niche or category that doesn't generate traffic. Not to say that this might the case here but....

It's easy to rank for keywords that have no traffic because there is no competition for them...

Try to use statcounter. This will give you the real time stats of visitors to your site. The keyword phrase which you are using in the signature has more potential than the "make friends circle". Give more assertion on this keyword.

i don't see any searches for "make friends circle"

you should focus your effort to rank on the following "make friends" keywords:
    1. how to make friends (83 daily)
    2. ways to make friends easily (28)
    3. make friends (23)
    4. make new friends (23)
    5. ways to make friends (21)
    6. 10 ways to make friends (20)
    etc.

but all of the above are highly competitive keywords. dont target keywords with no searches. i suggest you append locations from the above keywords depending on the geographical locations of the people you are targeting

It doesn't appear that your page includes the word 'circle'

May have something to do with LSI (Lantent Semantic Indexing)

Look at the highlighted words in the below search

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=~make+friends+circle&btnG=Search

I dont think it is popular enough to even be relevant. I would quit worrying about it and enjoy the traffic (if there is any) :D

ways to make friends easily is probably quite doable. It will take a bit of link building but you can probably get on page one fairly quick.

"make friends circle" is uncompetitive but the longtails bring a few hits every once in a while.

It's interesting that from as far as I can see you don't have circle on your page. Did you use it in anchor text?

You may want to use Google Adwords to get decent information on the keywords you target. You should also cross reference any results you get from Google with other keyword tools out there so you get a truely accurate picture of what people are searching for.

Sign up for Google Analytics (google it). Put the code on your website. Then after a while the data will show up in Analytics...

SME said it best. Many SEO scam companies promise top ratings on Google and such but for keywords that are rarely used and offer little or no useful traffic.

Use the Google AdWords Keyword Tool, this tool shows you the average search traffic volume for any term you type in.
