Most of what everyone has said is correct. Wordpress = more versatile, cool plugins, but slightly more difficult to use.
Blogger is easy to setup and maintain, but not as many fancy gadgets. Also, you will find much better Wordpress templates that look a lot nicer than the blogger themes.

Both are free blogs, but Blogger is much more simpler to use as compared to Wordpress which requires more plugin. However, Blogger themes in your dashboard are limited to 2-column only and not much choices. Also, no comment box below blogger blog, unlike Wordpress.

You need a VIP account in WP to be able to host Adsense Ads !!! And a VIP account is pricey. So no comparison between WP and Blogger....

I think these days it is not easy to get approved by adense while using Blogger. Adsense check blogger and other sub-domain hosts more closely for fraud and content.

Wordpress for sure, it's powerful and easy to customize.
Adsense isn't the only way to make money you know ;) And even so, in Wordpress you can have the ads anywhere you like to maximize your earning potential.

WordPress is the best solution for using Adsense with it. Any other option is just inferior compared to the number of Adsense plugins that are developed for WP.

I like Wordpress much better. You can do whatever it is you want with it. And with a little programming knowledge you can also change up any theme you download. Plus there are tons of plugins.
