MSN bot has crawled my site but has not updated title tag info?

Discussion in 'Bing' started by xscream9, Oct 10, 2008.

About 7 or 8 days ago I made a few changes to my keywords in the title page of my blog. MSN bot has crawled my site several times since then but has not updated the information. When I search my blog in MSN it still shows the old title tag keyword phrase

My question is why didn't it change the title tag it when it crawled it last and how do I get it to update the information?

    Thanks for any input!

If you are referring to their traffic numbers, this particular phrase gets a lot of searches so it's worth it ...

    Anyone have any answers?

that indicates MS bots are not reliable???

i am a little bit concerned though, but last time, i submit a site, took 3 months to appear on msn live search, so i think we just have to be patient about it.

well, i got an answer to this.......

you need to submit sitemap at http://webmaster.live.com/

and they will assign you the code and Liversearch xml file, just put it under your root folder

works a treat for me, hope that helps

Yeah, I already have the site submitted to the webmaster live tool. The site is getting crawled fine... that isn't the problem. I'm just wondering why it's not updating the info in the title tag when it does.

You only need 10 serious buyers a day to make a lot of money...it's not about volume ;)
