Up to 1 month ago all you would see was success stories regarding rapid indexing or immediate top 10 ranking at MSN search but now all you see complaining or very small successes.

Has anybody recently developed a new site and got indexed by MSN or get a top 10 ranking by just having a few backlinks and on page SEO?

As for myself I don't see that rapid inclusion anymore let alone top 10 ranking.

Just for the record Google has been seek recently as well.

I haven't gotten a page indexed in the last 2 weeks at all, and I hand submit all my stuff. In fact about 40 or 50 pages have been de-indexed all together.

I have a site which was quickly indexed and placed in the top 10. But it took me placing the link in like 8 PR0-PR5 sites.
The process took like a week from creating the site, placing the ads until it started to take the 6th place now.

Yes recently. It had like 50 pages and MSN cached 7 only. Now the site has 3,000 (added them in one day) and MSN is starting to catch up.

Thats what I meant. If it was 2 months ago you wouldn't have 7 of 50 but 45 of 50.

have released 2 sites within the last month. Both got indexed in a couple of days, no "manual submitting" to searchengine, just used Google Sitemap, a link on a site that spiders crawl almost every day, some basic on-page SEO

MSN got all pages in the first crawl.

One of the sites is ranking top 10 on the targetted keywordphrase, the other one is still climging the mountain :D
