Does article marketing Help!

hi guys,

I have been doing a lot of writing lately and came I suddenly came across a new word 'Article marketing'. Some of my friends says it a good way to earn money.

I wanted to know what is basically 'Article marketing'.
Can we really earn money through it.

Also how is article marketing done.

I have been a copywriter for few months now. I think I can really do article marketing.

But I don't have the basc knowledge about it. So, I guess I though to write here and ask you guys about what it is basically all about.

Also I wanted to know is submitting articles in Ezine really helpful? Some say it promotes your site a lot. But when I submitted a few articles there, they rejected it. Guy's does anybody know what is the criteria of their methods. What do te think when they see a article. Is american/uk English required for it?

Also, Can we really earn money by ezine. Means that Does submitting articles in Ezine really help?

These are a few questions that came in my mind but I did not have enough time to write here and ask you guys for help.

Article marketing is writing articles to attract visitors to your website, and then monetizing the website. There is alot of false information on article marketing out there so be careful what you pick up. I will tell you one thing though: NEVER purchase an ebook on article marketing. All over that information is available on the web SOMEWHERE for free. Remember that and happy hunting.

It reminds me of myself.

When ever I answer a domain registration question in forums, I quote them that - 'Don't register a domain with their hosting company. They won't transfer your domain when you want to move to different hosting'.

Article marketing is marketing your business thru your articles.

* You can promote your business/product by writing articles and submitting them to content publication web sites.
* Submit to ezine publishers so they will send those articles to thei subscribers.

Artcle authoring is different from above. You will provide articles/ copywriting services to others as a service.

Article Marketing is awesome actually.

If you have a website and lets say your website is about Mechanics and then you would probably want to write articles about fixing cars and at the end of every article you are allowed to have an Author Resource box where you can leave a little information about yourself and a link to your website and essentially thats the beauty of article marketing. Write articles related to your website's niche and you will be fine.

Its great because you have the opportunity to get a one-way link from a relevant website (your article website) and thats always a powerful link. So you want to spend time focusing on article directories that have a high Google PR, like Ezine.

I am not sure why Ezine would have rejected your article but that must mean that you violated their terms of use some how, so I suggest you go over the rules of submitting an article to Ezine before trying to publish articles.

Publishing articles can be great but you need to also do the keyword research necessary to know what keywords are search alot and in demand but low in supply and fill your articles and your website content with those keywords and ensure that your anchor text that is linking to your website is also one of those keywords. That is how you capitalize on article marketing.

 

Article marketing has helped me out a lot on SEO and affiliate marketing. I have used Ezine and GoArticle and now have started my own called SumContent. It is all about writing a good article but most of all finding good longtail keywords that bring traffic.

Also some say that that we are submitting our articles to ezine the format of article are a bit different. Like the format of tje article cahnges or something like that. Is it so?

Basically it's about adding quality and unique content to promote your site. This has always been the fundamental towards google's indexing approach.

 

Yes, very much so. Thanks to article marketing, my site came out of God only knows where on Google to page 4. It's quickly ranking higher, and hopefully it'll be on the first page soon. I just submitted a few new articles the other day to Ezine Articles, and I'm getting tons of hits from them.

So not only are they good for traffic, if they're popular articles, having your site linked to them (in the resource box) will increase your site's ranking.

Dear abhishek,

Try to write articles which have some useful information in them, show that you know what you're talking about and that they can get more useful info by following your link in the "About Author" box.

On a personal note, I saw that you had some typing mistakes in your posts (perhaps English is not your 1st language?) this might be why your articles were rejected - could you get someone to proof read your articles before submitting?

How many articles should one right per week for it to help?

And how many words should there be?

A good tip is to come up with relevant keywords. Before you even start writing your article, remember that optimized articles win the best search engine rankings. I read that for a 500-word article, you should use your main keyword phrase about 7 times. Although I tend to use my kw phrase 3-4 times and perhaps through in a couple of different kws. If possible, try to include your main keyword into the title of your article.

The more you submit the more you get. But atleast 2 - 5 articles/day will keep you in the wheel. And again there is no hard rule on this. It also depends on the niche of your articles.

Good articles published on many sites and you will get backlinks. As long as you want. It is a continuous process. Nobody can tell you the time period.

I love article marketing, they are great to drive some extra traffic to my sites. Personally, I write 5 articles a day for my own use.
