Why do you foreign people put a space after your question marks?

FFS, there's supposed to be no space between the last letter of a sentence and your question mark/exclamation/period. Cut that shit out.

Doh, my thread title was supposed to be: why do you guys put a space BEFORE your question marks.

What annoys me the most is when there's a space before the period.

    Example: Digitalpoint is fun .

    Drives me CRAZY!

I don't check to be honest, sometimes there a space before, sometimes not

But periods, never (Maybe once or twice :p).

No. I've mentioned this exact nuance to an English professor familiar with foreign languages and he said there's nothing like that at all.

What do you call foreign? You sound American to me which makes you foreign to me. Over here in England a period is something a woman has once a month.

    LOL! :p

Anyway, I don't think it depends on nationality...I think it's more about the confidence one has with keyboard and digital writing.

As a foreigner , I don ' t really care about space between symbols .
But if I wasn ' t a foreigner or if I was not living in Vietnam or Brazil, than I guess it would have been bothered , right ?
    Unless I ' m a foreigner of Mali living in Norway . . . .

You have raised question on a very simple matter but there are serious grammatical mistakes here in DP which makes it difficult to even understand the subject (meaning). so many times i read threads with out any appreciable meaning and fellow DP members asking the webmaster what he wanted to mean.

My favourite ,, is the unnecessary use of double commas.
