After seeing your blog it seems that you are all over the map on content. I could not establish what major themes your blogging is about. You went from technical stuff to talking about paypal, how to fix errors and just all over. I could not follow your blog as a reader. I might find 1 or 2 posts helpful, but it might be better to do multiple blogs, with more narrow topics. Ad placement is missing too. You need more ads. Text-link-ads.com | Adsense | a CPA offer or two| Some blog related ads | maybe sell your own ad space with OIO publisher direct. Here is a link from John chow blog: http://www.johnchow.com/go/oiopublisher.php Also read: http://www.johnchow.com/make-money-online-recommended-money-makers/ Just my Two Cents
i've been making a lot of money from blogs, so must be something you are doing! i see results in at least 4 weeks so can imagine your frustration with 2 years of trying! without seeing your blog its hard to give any real direction
Very interesting blog... However, I have to agree with "theoddoneout" since I couldn't find the ads to click on.. they are definitely in the wrong spot... I would think about re-designing the site...
I don't want to be mean or anything but your blog looks like it was created to make money via advertising not provide me (the reader) with useful or entertaining content. If you really want to make money as a blogger you need to cater to the readers not the ads. It felt a lot like you were rushing through posts or hiring someone to create quick content for you instead of taking the time to really polish your writing and post relevant information/opinions. Keep working at it--you'll get there!
I made over $100 my first month doing this stuff. Not blogs though. http://www.zipbux.org is a guide that will get you money, it is now Free* Also, I bet this will make your money rise: Put a small script on your page that makes it so when people click your normal-looking links, they automatically convert into something like this: http://www.realfiles.net/link/e9cbce81 DO you see that? That is not the link it goes to! But use it as a demo - it will make a pop up window, and then redirect you (in this case, to the site I am on about). I added it to all my little sites that get traffic but damn-all to get an adsense click or any other way of money. This monetizes that non-paying traffic immediately on any failing page with any kind of traffic Hope it helps. And oh yea, the noob guide in my sig I am working on might be worth a look - maybe it's a good way for you to make good upfront payments for your articles, and more exposure for your blogs:
How much to advertise on your site? I am launching a new site this week: halfpricesolarsystems.com and looking for deals on advertising. PM me if interested.
What is "decent" money to you? If it is under $10 a day, then I see your point. If it is much higher, you are trying to rush to fast. And look around to find topics about placing ads, and the proper design of a site
I cant even find any ads! How can you make money without showing ads! I was about to give you some clicks just because I don't like it that you didnt make any money.
dude don't think like dat ..........u need to work hard 4 earning more money threw blogs kk.....n adsense is very strict they depend one a fresh content .....
Personally, I believe that when it comes to blogging, you should do it because you love to do it rather than to be motivated by money so that you would not be disappointed. With pay per click ads like adsense, you cannot influence your visitors to click the ads on your site nor you can influence the high value ads to appear. Your visitors must have the free will to click the ads. As you know, with adsense once they click your ads, they are gone from your site so in order for you to make many from ads, you must make sure that the ads are more interesting than your blogs so much so that your visitors want to get away from your site as fast as possible by clicking at an ad which would tickle their fancy. Ask yourself, when you visit sites with ads, do you have an habit on clicking them ?
If blogging is your hobby why are you complaining. Hobbies cost money offline. If you want your blog to make money change your approach from a hobby to a small part time business and analyse it? Is it time to quit it and move to another topic? How can it be monetised?
Yes, it is possible to make money from blog but that is not the main purpose of blogging. If you write something and people do not like it and want to get away by clicking on the ads then you would make money. Making money should be the last thing on your mind when you blog. The money is just reward for your effort which may or may not come.
Wow, this blog is just badly monetized. Go monetize it. I use: Kontera, Adsense, Chitika, Widgetbucks 3 columns layout: Adsense: Best performing (got a 120*160 in the left sidebar and a big 200*200 in the right sidebar) Chitika: 2nd best, very very relevant ads, also in the right sidebar 200*200 Widgetbucks: Doing good, below the adsense sidebar Kontera: High CTR but low CPC - using inlinde ads here only And go promote it ! voila : at least $4/day
