I have a website that is about sex tutorials. There is no porn and no nudity anywhere on the site. Is this still against adsense tos to put up ads?

Apply for adsense and they would give you a valid reason for rejection.

I already have an adsense account so it would be just a matter of creating a channel and adding it to the site. I would not want my account to get banned.

re-read the TOS and policies.. If i recall, it says no "adult" content - nowhere does it say anything specific about nudity or porn.. I would consider sex tutorials as "adult", since you probably would not want 9-year olds reading it..

Well adult stuff is generally considered stuff that is illegal for people under 18 to read. This is not something illegal for people under 18

Well explained - So just forget about adsense and try any other program which allows such websites.

i would say its controversial. its better to be safe and not use adsense on a site with sex tutorial. however, when it comes to sex education, its hard to say how google will look at it. kids are being educated on safe sex in the schools now. in Canada, you need to be 19 to buy a pack a cig and 21 to buy alcohol but a 14 year old can buy condoms because its safe sex.

I'm afraid that this is one of those areas that you'll have to stay away from. Yes, even though it's within the "spirit" of what is right.

I had a similar issue with some medical topics.

I know that but you can always re-apply for a site which you think would have doubtful content. As an example I had doubt with club-google.com and as expected it was rejected with a valid reason

    Why risk your adsense account?

I think 'adult' for adsense means sex, porn and stuff like that. Just an article about sex tutorials shouldn't be a problem but then you are risking your adsense account!

I suggest going for ads like adult friend finder. Even if adsense allows this kind of content, you need to verify if adwords allows ads like that? if not, you won't get any ads through adsense!

I did a google search on things like "sex tips" and there were adwords ads up for various sites. Which led me to think that it may be allowed. Im still hesitant tho which is why i thought I would ask.
