Adsense ban - Is it forever?

A mate was thrown off adsense for alleged click fraud. He swore blind he hadn't done it but got nowhere appealing to google. Will he be able to get another adsense account? He's thinking of using a different bank account? Will he get found out? Is it even a problem?

I can't advise him as I just stick the code on my sites and hope it keeps working:)

    Opinions appreciated

Once you are banned there is no way for you to get reinstated. I am afraid that it is pretty much game over for your friend.

Yes, and I have heard of as many being banned as a result. Once banned forever banned I guess. Unless (maybe) you setup a separate company entity which is a legal entity by itself and apply to Google Adsense. That should help but I am not sure if users have tried that.

Once banned you are usually not admitted again but people do report that they have changed details and have been accepted for a 2nd time but are then banned again some time later.I guess the only way to find out would be to try again.

If one site was banned on the account YES it can be re-included (happened to me took 15 for review)
But if the whole account is banned then your are probably out of luck

My friend got banned twice. Put the address and details of his uncle. Nothing has gone wrong for him for 2 yrs. Not encouraging people to go and do experiments with adsense accounts or do invalid clicks. Advertisers can go into a serious loss.

Thanks for that. I'll show him this info and see what he thinks. Personally I'm always paranoid over upsetting google adsense and so hope like hell I'm never in his position

Believe me they can be banned only if there are link from their previous account to new one.But if there are no any link (for example IP or MAC adress or Cookies) they won't.Google doesn't have any magic trick to find out person's identity. Also they are very bussy. If you are using completely different computes email and ip then you just like another person ...

I am sure many people are banned but for making stupid mistakes such as check adsense from the same ip or have links from your banned sites.

i am just curious, if the click fraud is not done by the publisher ID... will the publisher still get banned? i hope google is smart enough for that, coz sometimes, some visitors will deliberately click several times a day for a week and you may get suspended for no reason..

I do think they do not count these fraud clicks. So,i suppose publisher will be banned only if there are not enough non-fraud clicks.
