It's a good way of increasing your site's traffic. It can also help increase your site's backlinks provided that they are dofollow.
Sometimes I wonder how people really, truly actively keep up with all these social bookmarking sites. The thing is, to get decent traffic from them you have to actively participate. You can't just make stupid useless posts because no body will click on your links, you'll get backlinks sure, but no traffic. Personally, I stick to about 5 really good SB sites and actively participate in them. I just don't have time for any more than that. What about everybody else, what's your view?
