This is dumb. I finished a web site recently, then I show my wife the page, appenrently, she is more interested in Adsense link then my content. Then she clicked a few links. Then I went to Adsense account, it shows 9 clicks and zero earning. Am i going to get in any trouble?
Probably not. I have accidentally clicked on my adsense links before as well. Usually they do not credit you for the clicks but they let it slide. Just don't let it happen again. If it keeps happening they will probably ban your account for invalid clicks.
Most probably, don't ever think of clicking the links from computer you are setting up Adsense and checking reports etc. As no earnings so they have already tracked invalid activity. I suggest to email them about this and tell this will not happen again. Some times they also give warning and sometimes they don't action on one time invalid activity.
I think it should be ok. Just make sure it don't happen again, but I will suggest you to contact Google support and do some explanation. Good luck.
Adsense won;t ban you for just a few clicks. But they will be observing for sure. When this starts happening on a regular basis, when they track a similar kind of user activity taking place frequently, I think they will investigate and may take an action.
I am not sure... You had better contact google ads https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py Good luck
Yeah, They are strict when it comes to clicking them on your own. I'm sure they will let it slip for a while. But when it comes down to there money in your pocket they will fuss about it. I wouldn't worry about it tho.
Contact adsense support and tell them. Sometimes you get warning emails, sometimes they just ban, also i have heard that people get a review [in your case, these clicks will be reviewed then] when they near the $100 mark and get banned before getting paid anything! So the best thing to do now is to report adsense, and tell your wife not to click again!
Hi, As Adsense team wrote before, it may happen and that's just an accident. But, better be safe then sorry - therefor send them an email with all info needed about it.
