Traffic Drop

On Friday May 26 our traffic went down by about 70% with a corresponding decrease in business. Our Google ranking is the same and ranking for keywords seems to be about the same.

Can anyone tell us what the cause of this might be?

If you have a lot of traffic from the states it is likely because it is a holiday weekend here, and the end of the school year for many.

 

yeah Cricket is right, my traffic goes down on saturdays and sundays also

 

same here... on weekends traffic drops

 

Thanks Cricket but our traffic comes from all around the world and we have not seen this sort of drop before.

every site is for the world and not for specific region. thats why this is called internet and not intranet

 

Just pointing out that it is unlikely to be the holiday weekend in the US that has caused the traffic drop!
