How Can I Promote This Site?

Ive just started a new site. It's called Forumz Space. It's a free forum hosting site which uses phpBB.

Other than SEO I'm not sure how to promote it.

Please chuck some ideas my way

Pay for advertisement. Approach gaming communities as they are the primary groups of individuals who sign up for free forums. SEO the shit out of it, link exchange programs and etc. All this information and more can be found on DP

I can't afford paid advertising lol. I think I might register at some gaming communities and promote a bit there.

Anything else? That will bring lots of traffic? It's hard to get targeted traffic for something like this.

 

You may want to write up a descriptive article about your site, and post it to the various social media sites 9digg, etc, and hope it gets picked up

 

Also, look for some websites that might have a following, and offer to help the owner of the site get it up and running for free. Just make sure you have your "Forums Courtesty Of..." promenently shown.

Write a few articles and submit them to social bookmarking sites and maybe try to exchange a few links with webmaster and other related to your niche sites.Oh and also you might want to try Yahoo Answers.

 

Writing articles, creating a blog, ppc, and link building would be a good place to start.
