i've been working a lot on my website over at http://www.visitfloridastateparks.com/ and i was wanting to know what some of you thought about it. Also, if any of you own travel sites with a pr2 and above and would like to trade some links, i would be interested. Currently there is no area for us to put links but this will be an addition coming soon. Thank you, Travis Ballard
Pretty nice looking site. Easy to navigate and understand. Couple of suggestions... Maybe turn that large image in upper right (boy sitting on pier) into a link to the photos page instead of a hidden admin login box. I know you have comments enabled but maybe you could think about letting other people add their own stories/ insights about the parks as well as the ability to upload their own images. This would do two things. It would allow the content on your sight to grow faster and it would give you more free exposure ie. if random due posts an article about a park, he will most likely want to share it with people he knows so he would tell them to visit your site. Same with letting visitors add pictures. Just a thought of course. You might also think about adding a ratings system for the parks and their features. for example ratings for views, restrooms, food, parking, etc. Along the same lines, think about including lists of area hotels/ shops/ restaurants... All are only suggestions, it's a nice looking site. Good luck with it!
The site has a nice look and feel to it, the theme, the logo, the color scheme, and the page layout is excellent.
The color scheme of the site is nice. I even like the site layout. My only advice is keep adding the content, and you shd be on the way to the bank soon
Man the security of the website is poor...I was able to look at every file you have hosted. for example I was able to see the images by "http://www.visitfloridastateparks.com/wp-content/gallery/florida-caverns-state-park/"... Dont use Wp-COntent.. DOes not have security in it...
Just wanted to thank everyone for their input and ideas. eruct, thank you for some great ideas for future additions to the website. so someone can steal watermarked photos with a registered copyright? heh. not worried about it
