Here are 5 ways I have found to use my autoresponder to the fullest. What do you use your autoresponder for?

Have you found any unique and profitable ways to use your autoresponder? Then please add them to this post.

    1. Give prospective clients information about your business, price lists or resumes.

    2. Use an auto responder to collect names and email addresses so that you can build your mailing list - and you know the money is in the list.

    3. Use your autoresponder to train your affiliates.

    4. Use it to give away free reports or e-courses.

    5. Use it to answer frequently asked questions.

I just thought of this, never tried it before. :D

Setup a single autoresponder under an obscure random email address that responds with a link to something free. A prize maybe.
Setup a catchall that responds with random affiliate links.

Launch some sort of easter egg hunt type of competition that requires people to send an email to any address @domain.com for a chance to win XX. Explain that the prizebot will respond with a link that might be the winner.

If it works, you get email addresses, affiliate links potentially get traffic, who knows what else.

I like to use AR's at the beginning of my sales funnel by giving away a free product then followed up with an upsell, downsell and free product. When the system is working it can be very profitable.

    Great post

    I use aweber :)

If you are serious to build your business then it is better to use a paid service. Why?

    - better email delivery rate,
    - better support,
    - more reliability,
    - serve unlimited clients,
    - unlimited autoresponders,
    - looks more professional,
    - etc.

Aweber and getaresponse are the best in my opinion:

What about using an auto responder and providing a FAQ?
