The White House's own page states this, why do you think I also blame the Republicans and the administration?

Really Mccain has lost all credibility for me. he obviously does everything based on his gut. i found him very reckless and dangerous. i will read the article later and will comment on it.

You know- I never thought I'd hate a president as much as I HATED Bill Clinton.

But Bush makes me look back at Clinton w/ tenderness.

Good old Homebiz, buying a junk email that holds absolutely no truth to it beyond wishing somehow those evil Democrats taking office magically broke everything overnight.

Not very 'American' as well to say someone of a certain party should not be allowed in congress.

You don't have to control congress to block legislation

That disputes the fact that he said the DNC controlled congress how exactly?

Everything I have read that is not on right wing blogs have pointed to the Republicans being just as much to blame for making sure the bill never got even to the floor.

Bush talked about Increased home ownership, home ownership did not cause this problem, when 40% of the homes bought and sold in 2006 and part of 2007 where bought as investments not part of home ownership which little down payments, hoping to be flipped for a quick profit is hardly what he was advocating in that video.

While the DNC didn't control congress during this time they did block all attempts to make Freddie and Fannie smaller, and guess who was the largest buyer of subprime debt between 2005 and 2007. Fannie and Freddie.

Alan Greenspan, this fucker fucked up everything. He orchestrated the new new way to do financing with mortgaged backed securities.

I have strong feeling Citi Bank will be the next to go bust. They are like a deer starring at the headlights. Citi bank need Wachovia to save themselves. I have Citi Bank accounts and couple of Citi Bank Asian Accounts. If you are smart move the money to some Cayman Island or to Swiss.

I don't know what Bill Gates and Larry Page do with $1 billion plus in their accounts. Hard to move this kind of money over night.

Only solutions is Gold bars safe in the safety box under your bed and a rifle to enforce trust in men.

Ok so then you agree that what the poster stated was not factual, which puzzles me as to why you responded to it.

Republicans were also involved in 'blocking'..

I gather you didnt catch that I amended the statement, and still the fact that were a few on the gop side... it was policy on the dem side. Funny, they were happy to take the credit when it was considered credit.

But I will point out that of course you are in NO WAY in the tank for Obama just because anything anyone says that favors the GOP makes your hair catch fire. Could happen to anyone. :)

I was responding to the comments made on page 2, not kolgames email posting. The only thing I would blame democrats in congress for is the rise in food prices. Becuase of the ethanol mandate that they pushed through once they came into power, the price of corn went from $2 a bushel to $8. Otherwise congress hasn't done much in the last two years.
